Dentists
Dr. Sam Alghabi
Back in elementary school my dentist was a very ill tempered and non caring dentist. I made a vow that I would become a dentist that will make patients feel comfortable with me and at the same time offer the best treatment for them. To me dentistry is more than looking at teeth; it involves interaction, understanding the needs of my patients (influenced by their personality) and catering to them.
Today, I am happy practicing dentistry and seeing that my patients are satisfied with me and my treatment.Nothing pleases me more than a patient saying that they had a positive experience with me during and after their treatment.
I participate on a yearly period in a fund raising campaign for the Surrey food bank. We also as a practice help support a little boy through Vision Canada.
I speak two languages Farsi and English. As for my hobbies – I enjoy playing billiards and participating in different tournaments.
Dr. Mario Esposito
Dr. Esposito was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. He graduated from the UBC Faculty of Dentistry with a DMD degree and was accepted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Dental Society in 1993.
Dr. Esposito has practiced in Vancouver since 1993, all the while taking post-graduate courses and continuing eduation in Endodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry, Laser Dentistry, Orthodontics and Invisalign Certification . Most recently, he has focused his studies on TMJ treatment to alleviate problems originating from the jaw joint that cause headaches.
He has been a member of the International Association for Orthodontics since 2002 and was a member of the Focus Study Group for Occlusal Harmony.
Dr. Les Wong
Dr. Leslie Wong, was born and raised right here in Vancouver. He is a father, loving pet owner of two ragdoll cats, a dog and some fish. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, skiing, playing seasonal hockey (not just watching), GO CANUCKS GO!! and is passionate about cooking.
Dr. Leslie Wong attended UBC and graduated in 1993.
Dr. Leslie Wong graduated one year earlier than his peers & with
the highest marks- top of his class.
He has had the pleasure of getting to know many of the patients, many of whom live in this community. Many associate Dentists enjoy watching Dr. Leslie Wong practice. His team members, associate Dentists and colleagues prefer to see him directly for quality dental care. Dr. Leslie Wong was interviewed by Canada’s Fashion Magazine “Flare” to discuss Cosmetic Dentistry in Canada.
Dr. Komal Dhir
Dr. Komal Dhir was born and raised in beautiful Vancouver, BC where he attended St. Patrick’s High School. He later received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of The Pacific in California.
Dr. Dhir practiced general dentistry in Auburn, Washington and Bellingham, USA before moving back to Vancouver. Komal joined Pacific Centre Dental in September 2010.
Komal volunteered for Reach Community Clinic, a community dentistry program in India, as a dental assistant before going to university. Dr. Dhir shares affiliations with: California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Washington State dental Association, BC Dental Association, King County Dental Society.
His hobbies include playing floor hockey at the Boys & Girls Clubs, working out at Fitness World and spending time with his family and friends.
Dental Professional Staff
Pacific Centre Dental is staffed by a group of professional, charitable and multi-talented people. Office Manager Jennifer Woodrow has years of experience managing dental offices, and she takes pride in ensuring that every patient receives personal attention and leaves their appointment satisfied.
We are also blessed that many of our hygienists, receptionists and Certified Dental Assistants speak other languages in addition to English. If you are more confident describing your symptoms in Spanish, Tagalog, Farsi, Azari, Hindi, Punjabi, Russian, Slovakian, Czech or Polish, we can most likely accommodate you.
